I guess I will blog about things other than Ivana from now on...I always thought blogging was the worst thing you could do to one's privacy and plus, who wants to know the daily events in your life, right? Still, I realized that blogs probably could also double up as virtual diaries, recording stuff that you could look back on and reflect...

I am not a very consistent blogger so I don't know how far I will go to bother writing stuff ..

Anyway, Jan 2010 has started off with the highs & lows...I have set a resolution to clear credit card debt and will try my darndest to pay cash for all my buys and etc,etc..which got off to a really crap start coz we used the VISA to buy a brand-new system 3 for the flat yesterday....:(

I said TRY...so will keep TRYing....and TRYing...

...sorry for being away so long..Haven't really been up to updating this blog because I thought too much of Ivana would become stale but since Tristan asked me to post something, I decided to go with this one..A classic Dearest angle, fresh and hip and oh-so-coquettish.Plus with the recent spate of heartjumping events, courtesy of Miz Taiwan, our newest tagline has progressed from : :" waiiiiirrrrhhht!!! Tao Yan! Bu Hao Chi!" followed by Ivana's super-funny dance and moves to make this an evergreen we keep in our insane minds forever...

For the unlucky few who have not had the privilege of seeing Ivana in her latest new dancemoves, fret not! Simply go up to her and say:" Ni you mei you Yi Bai Fen ah?" or just say:" Bu Hao Chi!" and you will be delighted with the response that will follow...

I will remember well..

Muush threw me a dinner on Tuesday, a simple setting at Brazillian Churrascaria along Robertson Walk. The place was not as swanky as a similar one at Vivo but we thought of the central location for everyone who had been invited and Vivo was pretty far off...In the end, I did a mental check with Ivana and we realized that almost the whole family drove...chey, I would have preferred Vivo's setting but nontheless, it ws the company of this group that made my birthday super!




I didn't think much of the food, probably because I had dined at the Vivo restaurant and kept comparing the two...I liked the garlic bread and the chicken..the rest so-so..the wine was free-flow but i think it wasn't great because Ivana wasn't gulping buckets of it and I usually use her as a meter-check! In fact, she wasn't really drinking..except for Muush.....Baba..(sigh)...drinks a little too much. starts to talking loudly and guffaw, yes...GUFFAWS loudly, then spills a secret nickname we all have for Ah Boi, which causes internal panic amongst the guilty name-givers ( it was Ivan's idea!) and finally makes Tristan cry...Best, my baba!!
