Spent Sunday at home..WOOOTTTT!!! then had dinner with Alex & Gilbert at that MELLBEN crab place near us.. I found the food ok.not like WOW! same lor...no biggie..then went to Nelson's birthday gathering...happy to see Vickky there , he is such a funny guy!! Give him a corridoor and you get PRADA cabin preview, a bunch of balloons and Richard Avedon poses appear sychcronized with BOOM BOOM POW! choreography, mind you..HAHAHAH..too bad I didn't snap any pics of our SNTM in his element..but next time I will remember!

Ended up at Zirca ( felt bad that Vic had to keep asking) and had an insane 2 hours , people watching, doing the silly icon dance with Ivan..

We ended supper at SPIZE and Pao is really motor-mouth when imbibbed and Vickky so fierce!!!..It was great finish though tiring...will post whatever shots I got at the party later.

I guess I will blog about things other than Ivana from now on...I always thought blogging was the worst thing you could do to one's privacy and plus, who wants to know the daily events in your life, right? Still, I realized that blogs probably could also double up as virtual diaries, recording stuff that you could look back on and reflect...

I am not a very consistent blogger so I don't know how far I will go to bother writing stuff ..

Anyway, Jan 2010 has started off with the highs & lows...I have set a resolution to clear credit card debt and will try my darndest to pay cash for all my buys and etc,etc..which got off to a really crap start coz we used the VISA to buy a brand-new system 3 for the flat yesterday....:(

I said TRY...so will keep TRYing....and TRYing...

...sorry for being away so long..Haven't really been up to updating this blog because I thought too much of Ivana would become stale but since Tristan asked me to post something, I decided to go with this one..A classic Dearest angle, fresh and hip and oh-so-coquettish.Plus with the recent spate of heartjumping events, courtesy of Miz Taiwan, our newest tagline has progressed from : :" waiiiiirrrrhhht!!! Tao Yan! Bu Hao Chi!" followed by Ivana's super-funny dance and moves to make this an evergreen we keep in our insane minds forever...

For the unlucky few who have not had the privilege of seeing Ivana in her latest new dancemoves, fret not! Simply go up to her and say:" Ni you mei you Yi Bai Fen ah?" or just say:" Bu Hao Chi!" and you will be delighted with the response that will follow...

I will remember well..

Muush threw me a dinner on Tuesday, a simple setting at Brazillian Churrascaria along Robertson Walk. The place was not as swanky as a similar one at Vivo but we thought of the central location for everyone who had been invited and Vivo was pretty far off...In the end, I did a mental check with Ivana and we realized that almost the whole family drove...chey, I would have preferred Vivo's setting but nontheless, it ws the company of this group that made my birthday super!




I didn't think much of the food, probably because I had dined at the Vivo restaurant and kept comparing the two...I liked the garlic bread and the chicken..the rest so-so..the wine was free-flow but i think it wasn't great because Ivana wasn't gulping buckets of it and I usually use her as a meter-check! In fact, she wasn't really drinking..except for Muush.....Baba..(sigh)...drinks a little too much. starts to talking loudly and guffaw, yes...GUFFAWS loudly, then spills a secret nickname we all have for Ah Boi, which causes internal panic amongst the guilty name-givers ( it was Ivan's idea!) and finally makes Tristan cry...Best, my baba!!

Its been rather dificult to tear myself away from work..but I was getting bored and missed ye olde days when I would delight myself with a full 3 hours of "IVANAism"...gone are the happy times when all I could revel in was sifting through loads and loads of images of Dearest and then pull up the best one to post up for all other IVANatics to ogle at and drool..

Well...this one was quite shoddily put together because let's face it, Bugis sucks and I miss the old pc at Pacific..Somehow...air there was always more conducive for Lurvely images like this!!!

That Curry!! Gosh, she really knows how to make paths into Hollywood!! ( and when I say paths, I mean really BIG, HUGE, HOLE-STOMPING ones...) Fresh from her stint at SATC the movie, here she is again as the Incredible Bulk (oops)..I meant Sulk ( no, thats not right, although she does do that a lot whenever the lunch-truck runs out of jelly donuts and Reese's Pieces)..okay, okay, fine! She is just Incredible!!! Incredibly hungry and angry and hungry and angry and yaddah, yaddah...

I am amazed at her acting ability! One minute she is waif-thin as Carrie Bradshaw ( yeah right!) and next she is Green Curry!

CURRY BREADTALK ACTS!!!

It's finally here! SATC da movie! I was so excited to accompany Curry Breadtalk to the set coz she was actually "pigged" to be the extra ( and we don't mean she was a wall or table) stand-in for SJP !!!

Curry said she was so excited to be on the set because the catered food was FREE!!!!!!!!

Missing..

I have been so busy with the new place that my social life went from -10 to "who-the-f**k-is Chris?". Well, that's life and since I have 30 minutes of free time, which also means that Muush is not nagging me to arrange, alter, shift, clean, sweep and mop anything..I have decide to contibute to what this blog is all about...IVANA..I miss all of my pals terribly but my B"ar"FF!!! IVANA is the bomb...I mean she literally makes my day when she opens her mouth and says the funniest things , mostly its about my height but who cares...she is funneeeeeeeeee....

ok, I havent had time to do a BETH DITTO on her but I did find Fiona Xie online and did my best...till I get a breather again...enjoy!!!

APOLOGIES TO ALL MY FANS...I HAVE BEEN TARDY IN MY POSTS BUT HAVE NO FEAR BECAUSE SINCE DEAREST SEEMS ALL WELL AGAIN...(and seems to have had a lot of time on her tubby, little fingers doodling up images very unbecoming of beautiful creatures..tsk!) SILVER LINING...

Today is stressful for me, Curry's daddy is in a coma in Jakarta and she is depressed and worried, something that she hardly ever projects whenever we meet.

Always the life of any party, her silly, witty one-liners combined with amazing facial expressions never cease to make me giggle nonstop...but I can't be with her when she makes her trip home today and I know how much tension and worries she must have now but on a more selfish note..who will make me laugh today!? Nobody does it better than her and when willI be able to post up another archived picture to make history??


So, people, we musn't encourage more depression on Dearest , always try to keep negative thoughts to a minimum because crying and worrying make people look 20 years older and I'm sure Dearest wouldn't want another trip to Georgia's so I'm dedicating this poem to my most important BFF and hopes that she will be back in top form soon to make me giggle again:

Awkward Tuesday...

Getting back onto my usual gym-work-work-surf Net-chat with Mus-sleep pattern again. Im so oblivious to anything exciting that goes around me that I don't have much to blog about everyday..guess Im jaded and nothing much makes me sit up nor be excited about...i havent been clubbing since BKK...im not so good at the alcohol anymore...went to gym today and it was awkward because Benny , my "sometimes hairdresser" told me that 'C' was there..aiyah...so awkward man...nothing to say anymore and its just stupid to carry on feeling like i should apologize..I still don't think I said enough to warrant such hard words.and he should know better that I'm not like that anymore..whatever lah....anyway, I avoided the floor like crazy..running on the 1st level machine..but I guess when you try to avoid the obvious, it just hits you when you aren't looking..after doing the usual stretches, I walked warily back to the shower room ..and then shit lor, had to bump face on with that one...wah lau...damn sian man! dunno what to say so i just mumbled something, cannot remember...shit shit shit lor...and then kena act all smiley-smiley ( can u imagine me trying to actually pretend!!?)..well...im sure he was telling himself the same..it was so bloody tense..didnt try to even go back and "chat"..there isnt much to say to people who put you down every chnace they get and shrug it off as a joke, only mah!!! it was like a bad smell that blew in..you have no choice but to take the waft then it goes away ( thank gawd!!)...hope it doesnt happen again tomorrow!!!
